Redsky Reindeer Dash

Well done to Yr 12 students – Sophie, Suraiya, Ana, Ella and Mia for volunteering as marshals at the Red Sky Reindeer Dash last weekend.

Each year, The Bridges hosts its festive 1km fun run, marking the start of the holiday season in style. Children and their parents don festive reindeer costumes and complete two laps around the centre, covering a total of 1 kilometre, all before the shops open for the day.

This year, the fun was made even more magical with appearances from the Sunderland Empire pantomime cast, the mischievous Grinch, and, of course, Father Christmas himself, who also took time to greet every child in his grotto.

The event also shines a spotlight on the Red Sky Foundation, based in Sunderland, which provides vital support to adults, children, and families in need of cardiac care. The Foundation remains one of our school’s key sponsored charities, and participating in events like this helps raise awareness and support for their important work.
