Year 11 students were joined by their peers from Sandhill View Academy and other schools across the city for a taste of Sixth Form life during our in-school Sixth Form Transition Days. Students had the opportunity to explore a wide range of A-level subjects including Literature, Art, Sociology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Health & Social Care, History, and Sport.
In addition to academic taster sessions, students were introduced to exciting enrichment opportunities they can take part in next year, such as the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) awards, and first aid training. They also enjoyed getting to know their peers—one of our largest year groups ever—and exploring our excellent facilities.
We look forward to welcoming them back on GCSE results day when they officially enrol with us and begin their Sixth Form journey!
