Hands On With Horse Care

On Thursday, Pathway students—along with a few lucky Sixthformers —were treated to a unique and exciting opportunity to learn about horse care right here on the school grounds.

The session gave students the chance to meet two friendly ponies, Penny and Pebbles, and take part in a hands-on lesson covering grooming techniques, tack and riding equipment, and even a gentle walk around the school field. The experience was both educational and enjoyable, with many students showing a natural interest and enthusiasm for working with animals.

A huge thank you goes to Mrs Draper for organising the session and sharing her extensive knowledge, and of course, to Penny and Pebbles for being so calm, patient—and irresistibly fluffy!
