Around this time of year our Year12 sixth form students begin to really focus on their future and start to make plans for life beyond Southmoor. To help them along their way, we took all students to the annual UCAS Exhibition at Northumbria University.
This was a chance to get talking with university admissions staff and subject specialists, find out what life’s like on and off campus, and discover what else is on offer when exams are done and dusted – volunteer work, gap year adventures, and career opportunities. The event hosted hundreds of exhibitors from companies and universities across the UK. Our students returned much more informed and laden with prospectuses!
