A Positively Mad Workshop

Year 12 took time to reflect on their mock exams and plan for their future by taking part in a Positively MAD workshop. They learned about convergent and divergent thinking through watching a magic trick and practised a range of study skills including grid revision, source analysis and taking notes.

Shakespeare Under the Spotlight

Sixth form English Literature students benefited from a talk by Shakespeare critic and author Martin Old on Catholicism in Hamlet. Martin also spoke to our GCSE English Literature students about Macbeth and how to write with clarity in their upcoming examinations.

Joining the Cause Against Cancer

A group of Year 12 students volunteered as student ambassadors to support Anthony Nolan’s visit to Sixth Form.
