Following the recent elections, our students union met for the first time to decide on their priorities for the term ahead and discuss feedback from the student body. All ten of the members were engaged in discussions that included up-keep of the toilets, reporting methods for discrimination or mental health concerns, ideas for community action in the local area and planning for upcoming Christmas celebrations!
The Apsire student union meets weekly on Thursday lunchtimes to discuss issues that have arisen in the previous week, hear suggestions from students and plan events and initiatives that shape student life in The Sixth Form. The first meeting was lively and creative with a huge list of actions now to get to work on by the board members. The start of more to come!
