The Sixth Form was buzzing on Wednesday night. Not only did we have a fantastic turnout from Southmoor and Sandhill View pupils, but there were more students from schools across the city than we’ve ever had before. Clearly the word is beginning to spread – they also came from as far afield as South Shields, Gateshead and even Stoke-on-Trent! It was our biggest event so far, with nine universities in attendance, giving advice to students about their degree and career options, and our indefatigable Year 12 and 13 helpers guiding and supporting subject teachers in showing the very best the Sixth Form at Southmoor has to offer. It was a night we can all be immensely proud of.
Now all that remains is to get the last few applications in before the 13th February!
