Choosing A level German offers you the opportunity to develop your command of a language, bringing you in close contact with the culture and heritage of the German-speaking world. Pupils have the opportunity to develop a lasting appreciation of language, and language learning, with an ability to understand it in a wide range of contexts. It will allow pupils to communicate confidently for a variety of purposes, and give an insight into cultures, both contemporary and historic, and valuable skills for foreign travel, further education and employment.
