A Brain Boosting Trip to Leeds

Our Year 13 Psychology students attended their annual trip to Leeds for an AQA exam booster workshop. The conference, held in VUE Leeds, stretched and challenged students on their content knowledge of Psychology and refined their revision skills in preparation for their summer finals.

Top Speed at Nissan

A selection of Year 12 students spent a week at Nissan working on a Formula 1 project. They designed miniature F1 racing cars learning how to use brand new programming software and apply engineering theories to their designs before testing them as scaled down models to see which worked best.

Testing Out Sixth Form

Over the last few weeks students from Year 10 had the chance to test out a variety of Sixth Form taster lessons. Pupils tried out topics such as Art and Photography, Business, Computing, Health and Social Care, Psychology, Biology, Literature and Sociology in order to pique their interest when they come to consider further study.

David Hodgson, founder of ‘The Buzz’ personality quiz, visited Year 12. He gave them an insight into how to make the most out of Sixth Form, specifically by understanding their own personality types.
