Year 12 students were visited by Amnesty International to learn about the work the organisation does both in the North East and around the world. They then heard from an Asylum Seeker, Saman, who made a 50-day journey to the UK from Iran. Saman described his situation at home, how he ended up in England and was highly complimentary about his current life in Sunderland
