This year’s cohort have faced challenges like no other group before them – we are immensely proud of each and every one of them and of the team of staff who supported them during this time.
Despite the pandemic, the lockdowns, the isolation, our Year 13 students have gone above and beyond and achieved some inspiring results.

- 25% Russell Group – including Durham, Newcastle, Manchester, Edinburgh, Warwick, York, Nottingham
- Three students are going on to study Medicine – Lucy Bulmer Newcastle, Lucy Giles Sunderland, Charlotte Blackery Edinburgh
- Six are going to Durham University
- An impressive 18 are heading to Newcastle University to study a wide range of subjects.
Not just that but our students are off to study a wonderful variety of life-changing subjects including:
Music Production, Animation, Social Work, Urban Planning, Stage Management, Architecture, Policing, Aerospace Engineering, Midwifery, Dance.

- 15.3% of students achieved 3 A-Levels at grade A*-A
- 35.7% of students achieved 3 A-Levels at grade A*-B

- 36.2% of subject grades achieved were A*-A
- 68.1% of subject grades achieved were A*-B
- 87.9% of subject grades achieved were A*-C
