Southmoor Academy Sixth Form welcomed prospective students and their families on Wednesday for an exciting Open Evening, offering a taste of the opportunities available beyond GCSEs.
Visitors had the chance to explore our A Level courses, meet staff and current students, and discover how our Sixth Form supports young people to develop their talents, build confidence and prepare for their next steps, whether that’s university, an apprenticeship or employment.
The evening also offered a glimpse into an exciting new chapter for our Sixth Form. From next September, we will be rebranding and changing our name to The Aspire North East Sixth Form.
While our name and identity will be changing, our commitment to providing an outstanding Sixth Form experience, with excellent teaching, dedicated support and opportunities for every student to succeed, will remain at the heart of everything we do.
New name, same great Sixth Form experience!
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Wednesday. We look forward to welcoming our next generation of students and helping them discover what comes next.
