Young Physicist Receives Recognition

Congratulations to Chloe Pratt of Year 12 who was nominated as Southmoor Academy’s ‘Physicist of the Year’. Chloe attended Durham University with Mr. Dodds, where she was presented with this prestigious award from the Ogden Trust along with students nominated from other schools in the area. Well done!

Year 12 Reach New Heights

Year 12 sports students got the hang of things at Sunderland Wall. They are attending the climbing wall as part of their sixth form course, learning how to safely perform outdoor and adventurous activities and of course having fun along the way!
